Mowiflex™ should be printed between 190-210 °C, do not exceed a nozzle temperature of 220 °C and reduce nozzle temperature to <170 °C when temporarily idle. Don’t let the filament in the extruder when idle. Set the heated bed at about 25-70 °C.
Suggested printing speed: 20-50 mm/s.
Keep away from moisture and store in a sealed aluminum bag. Damp material can be dried at 60-80 °C for 6-8 hours in a circulating air dryer.
Melt temperature during extrusion should not exceed 220°C because at higher temperatures the material suffers thermal damage, recognizable by yellow discoloration.
After printing, it is highly recommended to completely purge out Mowiflex™ from the extruder.
Mowiflex™ can be dissolved in pure tap water. Use slightly elevated temperatures (about 30-40 °C) and agitation to accelerate dissolution. Aqueous Mowiflex™ solutions can be disposed to normal waste water treatment plants.
Due to all the different types of hot-end it's extremely difficult to give a temperature advice. Please consider our tips as a starting point to find the temperatures that work well in your setup. You may have to adjust the temperature settings slightly based on your type of printer.
