Tips&Tricks
Thermec Zed prints at high temperatures but has excellent processability, better than ABS. Heated bed is required, set the temperature between 0 and 110 °C.
Recommended print speed 30-60 mm/s. Set the cooling fans to 0%.
Thermec Zed guarantees excellent adhesion between layers, preventing delamination and minimizing shrinkage during the printing process. Objects printed with Thermec Zed are resistant to any known solvents (below 200 °C) and are inherently flame-retardant.
Applications
Automotive, aeronautical design, and every high-end applications requiring chemical resistance and outstanding mechanical properties.
Due to all the different types of hot-end it's extremely difficult to give a temperature advice. Please consider these tips, provided by the manufacturer, as a starting point to find the temperatures that work well in your setup. You may have to adjust the temperature settings slightly based on your type of printer.
